Jing Xiu and I went on our long-postponed expedition at 10am today.
Commonwealth MRT -> Bedok Bus Interchange (196) -> Marine Terrace -> Underpass -> East Coast Park -> City Hall
it lasted for a whole of EIGHT HOURS and i am EXHAUSTED!
we were lucky to find the underpass to East Coast quite quickly and we got the BEST rate ever! $5 for 2Bikes, 2hours & free 2 bottles of water.
been ages since i cycled. feels gooooood! (:
i'm so proud of myself (and jingxiu too!) because WE QUEUED FOR DONUTS FROM DONUT FACTORY! and we got them. woohoooo! it took us TWO HOURS to get that box of donuts. oh goodness. but we were there at a weird timing so i guess the queue wasn't that torturous. some of the aunties were telling us that they've queued FIVE HOURS just for the donuts! afterall it's all worth it. i get to try the donuts and i must say they are good. yummm. i guess i'll eventually go back for more. it's only when as each time is really straining. both mentally & physically. the Never-Give-Up spirit for STUPID donuts that taste so good. but it's pure satisfaction. I REGRETTED NOT GETTING A DOZEN ):
